Utility and community leaders, customer service representatives, human resources professionals, field employees, and anyone who engages in frequent human interactions.

Course Overview:

Solid communication skills are paramount if you desire to gain buy-in from your colleagues, leadership, friends, and family. However, your words are only part of your communication repertoire. Studies show 55% of communication is nonverbal and two people will signal over 800 nonverbal cues over the course of a 30-minute conversation.

This highly entertaining and informational full-day workshop will teach you the principles of body language and techniques you can use immediately to enhance your communication and influence.

Course Objectives:

Gain an appreciation and full understanding of what drives human dynamics and how you display your emotions and intent through nonverbal cues.
Learn the five body language channels and how to apply them at work and in life.
Understand how your vibe affects others and alters the human dynamics of a situation.
Learn negotiation and facilitation techniques and how to leverage body language to your advantage in negotiations and customer interactions.

Note: Organizations that register a group of employees will receive every fifth registration for free. For example, if you register five employees, you only pay for four; register 10 employees, you only pay for eight; and so on. There is nothing additional you need to do to receive this discount.

Cancellation Policy:

For webinars, virtual classes, and section meetings: cancellation at least five days prior to the event, full refund; within 1-4 days or no show, 100% of the registration fee.

For in-person events: cancellation at least 30 days prior to the event, full refund; within 15-29 days, $100 fee; and within 1-14 days or no show, 100% of the registration fee.

Continuing Hours:

This course qualifies for six continuing hours. Certificates are issued upon full completion of the course.
